Episode XXIII: Basketball games past and present

In this episode of The 16-Bit Catholic, I talk to Chris Alt, who hosts a plethora of podcasts, my favorite of which is Gamer and Proud (available at Flawedcast.net), about our favorite basketball games from the past and present. I picked up NBA 2K13 for the PSP, and I gotta say, it's fantastic. After not playing a sim basketball title in 10 years, I felt strangely at home: the game makes it easy to pick up and play, but gives you a good challenge.

We talk Lakers vs. Celtics, Jordan vs. Bird, the NBA Jam series and the NBA Street series. In non-gaming talk, we discussed the Alfred E. Smith dinner and how much we enjoyed seeing the candidates be nice for once. And I go off-course and make fun of a selfish childhood friend.

Plus, if you stick around until the end, you get to hear about my failure at a recent Ms. Pacman tournament!

It's great fun. Click here to listen.
